They are looking forward to welcoming more Scottish teams to the Dana Cup Hjørring 2015, like Newbattle High School, who have a team competing every single year!

Newbattle HSFC, John Frame recommends the Dana Cup Hjørring:
"Newbattle High has taken part in the Dana Cup with our Under 15 side every year since 2005. I am very confident that every one of the 140 boys we have taken to Denmark would state that this trip will remain one of the highlights of their lives. From the moment you set foot in Denmark the highly experienced professional organisation clicks into place and you can be assured that every aspect of your trip will run smoothly leaving you to concentrate on the Football side of the trip".
John went on to state that "The Hjørring area enjoys tremendous facilities with some 60 good quality pitches  which are available for  training and warm up games prior to the tournament. Over the years we have pitted our teams against opponents from as far afield as Brazil, Mexico, USA, Africa and the Middle East as well as closer to home.  In the last 10 years we have arguably been the highest performing school in the Lothian’s from Under 15 through to Seniors and there is no doubt in my mind that the experience and team building from the Dana Cup has played a big part in this success.  It provides a perfect pre-season, I would strongly recommend the Dana Cup to any team".
See below for a highlights video of the tournament:
The largest grass roots youth football tournament of its kind will once again be held in Leicestershire over three weekends in June and July 2015
The ACES Nationals Football Tournament 2015 will see over 200 boys and girls football teams from England, Scotland, Wales and Europe competing at the highest level. Only teams that have succeeded in their region, either by winning their league or cup are invited to take part. Boys teams aged 11 to 16 and girls teams aged 13 to 17 are invited to represent their city or town to become ACES national champions.
Since its 2009 launch, the tournament has grown from 20 teams in the first year to over 200 this year.
Sports brand BST have also been attracted to the tournament and are welcomed as the major sponsor for the 2015 tournament.
With such an array of talent on view scouts from some of the UK’s major clubs, including Premier League giants attend the tournament each year, searching for future stars.
Last year saw Central Academy Girls representing Falkirk beat Manchester City Girls to become ACES Girls U14 Champions, the first Scottish champions.
The ACES tournament, is fully-sanctioned by the Football Association and is held over three weekends on a Champions League type basis, with each age group being completed in one day.
Tournament Organiser, Andy Panayiotou, is excited about this year’s tournament: “every year the ACES tournament gets bigger and bigger. Attracting teams from Scotland means the tournaments name is really spreading”
Dave Cooper, Event Administrator, said: “We are looking forward to three weekends of the best youth football has to offer”

ProLegal Group - Putting Players First

Written by
Our partners Pro-Legal are a team of expert lawyers and professionals who offer comprehensive representation for football players, managers and clubs across the UK, Europe and USA.
The player is at the heart of everything for Pro-Legal, and they are a company focusing on each player as a complete package; the on field talent as well as the off field attitude.
They can provide guidance and representation for both, combining legal expertise, football knowledge, and an honest and transparent approach that makes Pro-Legal the number one choice in sports management.
A group of highly experienced lawyers, Pro-Legal are legally obliged to act in the best interests of the player at all times, ensuring they can instead focus on the most important part of their career…actually playing the game.
And it is here that the other members of the Pro-Legal team can come to the fore; football professionals with years of experience in the game, a wealth of contacts across the globe, and the knowledge of how to take a playing career to the highest level possible.
Pro-Legal provide a three-fold service:
  • 1. Legal excellence; accurate and specialised legal advice from either Pro-Legal or an appropriate referred agency, as well as representation throughout contractual negotiations, transfers, sponsorship agreements, or off field activities.
  • 2. The playing career is paramount to Pro-Legal.  They look at where a player is currently playing, how they’re being marketed, their public image, and ultimately, how they want their career to progress in football.
  • 3. They concentrate on the individual themselves, offering advice on how to maximise earning potential, create off field income, and potential business avenues following retirement.  They focus on successfully utilising social media in the creation of a personal brand to build interest and generate income, and maximise upon what is a short career even at its longest.
‘I first met Fraser, Liam & JP in March last year at the PFA offices. Since then I have had nothing but clear, honest advice from people very qualified in their fields. They guided me openly through the process of choosing the right move, nothing was kept from me and I knew everything that was going on.  I have 100 % trust in the whole team which is the most important thing’.
Andrew Robertson, Hull City FC and Scotland International.

New domain name .Club hits the net

Written by
A new Internet domain name extension targeted at football clubs has gone on general sale today.
The new generic Top-Level Domain name (gTLD) .Club is expected to be one of the most popular domain name extensions among nearly one thousand gTLDs being issued this year by ICANN, the international organisation that regulates domain names, as part of a drive to open up competition and opportunity on the Internet.
Easyspace, one of the UK’s leading domain name registrar and web hosting companies, is offering .Club on a first come first served basis. Easyspace is part of iomart, the UK cloud company behind Host Your Kit, the competition to give away free Adidas kits to deserving youth teams from which several Scottish youth football teams have already benefitted.
Sarah Haran, managing director of Easyspace, said: “Dot Club is the ultimate social domain name. If you run a football club, using this shorter and more specific domain name is the ideal way to bring your supporters together online.”
West Ham Football Club is one of the high profile clubs already embracing the new gTLDs. The Premier League Club has gone live with a new .London domain in order to associate itself more closely with the UK’s capital city.
