Maryhill fight back to victory against Croftfoot United

The game started with Maryhill kicking into the wind, they never got into the opposition box until the twenty minute mark when Josh Brown headed wide from a corner.
Another chance was to come from a long corner to the back post but Ryan McRobbie failed to connect. 
Croftfoot United had their own chances with Calum Clark in the Maryhill goal twice saving shots on target. 
With a minute to half time Croftfoot took the lead as a deflected free kick just rose out of Calum's reach high into the net.

With the wind now behind Maryhill they set about getting back into the game and it was a piece of footballing magic that saw Maryhill equalise when Aidan Lynch on as a second half sub knocked the ball into the path of Reegan Shearer thundered the ball from twenty yards with the outside of his left boot low into the bottom right hand corner of the goal, 1-1.
The perfect example of hitting a team on the break saw Maryhill take the lead as from inside their box John Cassidy found Adam McGowan who turned and played a sublime pass up the left to Aidan Lynch who drove into the box before cutting the ball back to the in rushing Anthony Obrien to smash the ball in off the underside of the bar.
Maryhill finished the game as a contest in the last minute when a long clearance saw the ball drop on top of the keeper who couldn't control it and the ball fell to Connor Mallis who rounded the defender and the keeper before scoring low into the net.
