With both sides having squared up to each other two weeks past on league duties, both sides knew this would be a real test.
Drumsagard were feeling hard done by at losing the previous encounter, which they feel the dominated, however a last minute goal put Finnart back into the game. This week, Drumsagard were out for revenge.
Conditions weren't the best but both teams contributed to a cracker of a match.
Finnart started the better of the two sides and they were clearly up for the fight, but they would live to regret the two glorious chances they had to take the lead early on. The big Finnart centre back was found in acres of space but unfortunately for him, his shot was fluffed wide.
However, Drumasagard came into the match, having the wind at their backs, for the rest of the half they laid seige on the Finnart goal.
From a Blane McDade corner on the right Joe Dickson rose highest, knocking the ball into the path of Steven Kennedy who slotted the ball home cooly, 1-0 to Drumsagard.
Things were to get worse for Finnart as they went 2-0 down, Lewis Ryan scoring with an unstoppable striker past the despairing Finnart keeper from twenty yards.
Finnart were by no means out of the match, but their ventures forward were few and far between.
Half Time : Drumsagard FAC 2-0 Finnart BC
The game as a contest was over, when ten minutes into the second half Drumsagard went 3-0 up. The goal came from a fine flowing move as Brian McLean won the ball in midfield before finding Jamie Mcbreaty in space, who's killer cross into the box was met by Jamie Neeson to score, 3-0 Drumsagard.
With the weather taking a turn for the worst, Drumsagard squandered several chances to extend their lead.
Finnart grabbed themselves a consolation goal with then minutes remaining on the clock. However it was too late for them.
A fantastic advert for youth football, with Finnart being left to think what might have been if they had taken their chances early on, however Drumsagard deserved their victory on the day, working hard from first whistle till the last.
