It is with great sadness that today I can confirm that at the end of June Croftfoot United FC will no longer continue. As we approach our 10th Anniversary in February of 2016, I have taken a massive decision to re construct the club that I created from just 5/6 kids in a wasted bit of land to at our heights 130+ children and 30+ volunteers. In our short existence we have won 3 League Titles and most recently the 38th Scotland Cup. We have seen many players come and go and many coaches too. It has been a pleasure to work / coach you all

However, my decision was not taken lightly and without any thought. I am extremely excited to announce the beginning of a New Era which will see this club grow from strength to strength and has certainly secured the long term future of all of our teams. As of this coming season 2015/2016 we will be know as Rutherglen Glencairn Juniors. It goes without saying that this is a majorly exciting time for the club and puts an immediate infrastructure in place giving all boys a strong pathway to junior football. To join a club with over 100 years of history is nothing short of pure brilliance and I thoroughly look forward to working with First Team Manager - William Harvey and the committee of the Rutherglen Glencairn FC.

More details will follow however in the immediate future nothing will change with regards to our training times etc.

Once again I would just like to thank everyone past and present for their support and commitment to our wee club that grown to be the biggest and best in the Castlemilk, Toryglen, Croftfoot and Kingspark Area.

I wish you all a great summer and see you all in early July for Pre Season!!

Yours in Sport,

Robert
Croftfoot United FC, Chairman
