Another large crowd was in attendance East Kilbride lifted the Central Region Cup, beating Harmony Row. EK had beaten the Harmony Row team from the Glasgow & District YFL three days earlier. This time they came up against the Row team from the Paisley & District league, and beat them by the same 2-0 scoreline.
They were behind after just two minutes when Gavin Miller headed home from a cross to give EK a lead.
The game then settled down as Harmony Row pressed for an equaliser but nothing that was too troubling for EK to deal with. Their best chance in the 24th minute when Kyle Wilson's volley was saved by Bradley Main.
The first half finished with both teams struggling to make clear-cut chances. Harmony Row had a good period of possession but were unable to breach the EK defence with their final ball.
