These teams were no strangers to each other and they met in an enthralling match up at the Toryglen. Celtic lifted the Glasgow & District YFL Cup, beating Harmony Row by four goals to one.

The game got off to a vibrant start but no team creating chances of note but when the first opportunity came it was converted after Sean Harley was bundled down in the area he stepped up and converted it neatly to the keeper's right just 15 minutes into the game.

It took until the half-hour mark for another clear-cut chance to come and again it was taken by Celtic as Kieran Guthrie capped off an excellent solo run to finish neatly to give the boys in Hoops a two-goal lead.

However this was reduced before half time as Sam Esplin scored a super free kick to make sure at half time Harmony Row still had the belief that they could pull a win and were looking for a bright start to the second half.

Again the second half started promisingly but there were no real chances until Celtic sub Ryan Shields had a solo effort which he finished by directing the ball in off the post.

Celtic's next chance came after a long free kick landed nicely for a first time bicycle kick and produced a good save from goalkeeper Andrew Murphy.

The second half was not quite as exciting as the first due to it being a very stop-start game. It was clear there was no love lost between these two sides. The final chance of the game fell to Chris Shich as he tapped home after the keeper could only parry a Guthrie free kick into the path of the Shich.

Celtic will be delighted to be rewarded with their hard work this season, while Harmony Row will look to build on their progress next season.

Nathan Crichton - Walked a tight rope at times with some tackles but was vital in breaking up play and with some good passing as well
Conan Shields - Seemed to be the most likely to create the chances for the goal.
Magic Moment

Difficult to choose between two excellent solo efforts but the first one stands out above the rest and Kieran Guthrie was very impressive.
The free kick - Simply magical from Sam Esplin, curling the ball round the wall into the net. There could have been two keepers in the nets and it still would have gone in.
