The weather again was to play a big part in Campsie playing away from Station Road this time it was to be at the 3G at Lenzie Academy.
The first half of the game was played at breakneck speed with both teams making few chances but Campsie looked to have the upper hand and on the thirty fifth minute after a ball was played through to Jordan Mcgrotty who took the ball down well, turning before driving into the box, where he was impeded but managed to stay on his feet, before cooly striking past the Baillieston keeper.
the rest of the first half was played out with no more goals or any real chances of note.
Half Time : Campsie Black Watch 1-0 Baillieston Juniors
The second half had only reached fifty minutes when Wright tried to clear the ball in his area but missed it completely and this allowed Baillieston to take advantage and level the scoring.
Ten minutes later Campsie subbed Mcluskey for Reid which seemed to make a difference down the right wing but he did not get enough service.
Seventy minutes on the clock and Baillieston went ahead when again Campsie made a defensive error and Baillieston made them pay.
Welsh was brought back on after being subbed earlier with a cut to the knee and this seemed to settle Campsie again but when Baillieston pushed forward in the seventy ninth minute again Campsie`s defence was at fault and again Baillieston took full advantage to score their third.
This seemed to unsettle Campsie and they could not get back into the game and before they knew it they were 1-4 down when Baillieston struck again.
To Campsie`s credit they kept working away and just before full time the striker Mcgrotty hit a great right footed shot from well out that the keeper failed to stop
