On Sunday the 16th November KSC Royals hosted Bellfield as the two rival sides battled it out in the Central Ayrshire YFA League Cup. Even during the warm-ups, the tension could be feltas the teams prepared.
The game started slowly and it was clear that nerves were in play. The game remained goaless until around 20 minutes when Jordan Sherar gave KSC Royals the lead with a lovely left footed finish.
The support from the Royals fans was great and after the goal the game completely turned as Royals heads were high and they knew they were out to get a victory.
As half time approached, Jack Cummings the KSC stricker scored two cracking goals and made the score 3-0 to the Royals at half time.
Half Time: KSC Royals 3-0 Bellfield
The second half began and it was a slow start as well as both sides were not creating much in the way of attacking movement. That was until the Bellfield right-back scored a topper of a goal that was very unexpected.
With Bellfied hopes raised, they thought there may still be hope. The hope was risen further when another goal was scored for Bellfield to make the scores 3-2.
The game was tight and the Royals knew they had to do something to get themselves back into the match. They did just that as well, with screamers for the Royals as wingers Ryan Howat put two in the back of the Belfied net.
In the end it was a comfrotable victory for KSC Royals, though there was a slight concern in the second half.
Full Time: KSC Royals 5-2
