Ayrshire players offered a taste of Spanish football

Written by
It’s not every day that players in Scotland get the opportunity to be trained by coaches who are a part of the same set-up which developed players such as David Silva and David Villa, but that’s exactly what 130 lucky Ayrshire players will experience next month.
Galston YFC, in association with Krauseworld and Inspiresport, will be welcoming six coaches from the Valencia CF academy. As a club, they are recognised as the third most successful side in Spain with a youth academy second only to FC Barcelona on the development of players.
Whilst here, the Spaniards will be sharing the ethos and spirit that makes Valencia such a special club and their training sessions will be based on technical and tactical work for game situations.
The sessions take place on Friday the 1st of August at Loudoun Academy:
Session 1: 10:00 – 15:00 3G Astroturf/Grass/Gym Hall
Session 2: 17:00 – 21:00 3G Astroturf and Grass
Sessions are £30 per player. For more information about the event please contact Galston YFC Club Coordinator, Mr Hugh McNeillie via This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 07789 601027
