Competition: Kevin Horner Memorial Cup - Final
Venue: Guys Meadow, Cumbernauld

Baillieston Juniors and Bellshill met in the Kevin Horner Memorial Cup final at Guys Meadow, Cumbernauld.
Both teams were depleted due to injuries and suspensions with Baillieston playing without their goalkeeper, who was on holiday. Baillieston's top goal scorer Stephen Paterson volunteered to fill the void.
Baillieston started the stronger team and played some nice pass and move football and it was no surprise when they took the lead in the 15th minute. Connor Brannigan beat two Bellshill players and smashed a shot from 25 yards into the top corner of the net.
Two further chances came Baillieston's way, as they bidded to increase their lead. They fell to Brannigan and Chris Watson but two outstanding saves from Michael Brown in the Bellshill goal kept the score at 1-0.
Bellshill nearly equalised when Jamie Newton hit a brilliant free kick which was tipped onto the cross bar by the Baillieston goalkeeper.

In the second half Baillieston should have scored straight away when Shaun Malone beat the Bellshill defence but shot over the bar when it looked easier to score.
Bellshill began to put the pressure on Baillieston and were unlucky when a shot from Bolton narrowly went past the post. They were awarded a free kick when McIntyre brought down Blair Sharkey. Form the resulting free kick Sharkey scored with a looping header over Paterson in the Baillieston goal.
Baillieston were unlucky with a shot from outside the box from Ryan Cox but took the lead with 10 minutes to go when a Brannigan free kick was met by captain Lee Martin who bulleted a header past the unlucky Brown in goal.
Baillieston held on and were deserved winners with Connor Brannigan taking the man of the match award and the Bellshill man of the match going to goalkeeper Michael Brown.
