3 quick fire goals in the first half help Kirkintilloch get a win over Bellshill in what was a pulsating game but the fitness of Kirkintilloch shone through in the end to make it comfortable.

It was a four goal haul from Matthew Lang followed by braces from Lloyd Aitken and Ruairidh Arderson, then a goal from Kian Gilday helped to secure the win and keep their 100% record going.

The first real chance of the game fell to Bellshill and it was Simplice Kasubandi who finessed it from 25 yards and it was well saved but he had a better chance to play in Dimitris Boncota who was through if he had passed.

Kirkintilloch would took the lead after a defensive mistake from Lewis O’Neil let Parisi through who headed it into the roof of the net.

They really should have made it two but Arderson took the ball too wide of the goal when he was one on one with the keeper. However they did make it two soon after a wonderful flick round the corner from Arderson played in Aitken who put it through the legs of the on rushing Nicholas Docherty.

Minutes later it was game on as Ryan McGrath plays a wonderfully timed ball over the top to Boncata who poked it past the keeper.

Two minutes later Rob Roy extended their lead as Aiden Rooney ran through 2 men and slipped in Lang and slipped it under the keeper to get his first goal of the game.

Then the game was done and dusted almost by half time as Arderson scored from a great solo effort as he dribbled past 4 men and put it in at the near post.

Bellshill came back into the game through Shaun McGivern as pinball in the penalty area and it fell to Mcgivern who slotted it under the keeper.

Then it was the four goals in 20 minutes that really put the game to bed. First of them came after some phenomenal two touch football, which worked its way down to the right hand side and a wonderful cross along the deck to Lang to put it through the keepers legs.

Then a controversial penalty was given as John Mcfall went through the back of Lang and the referee pointed to the spot but looking at it again it looked like it was outside the box. However Aitken took it and sent the keeper the wrong way.

The seventh goal from Kirkintilloch came from a slack back pass from Mcfall, which put Lang through as he slid the ball under the onrushing keeper.

Bellshill did pull another goal back but it was nothing more than a consolation. It came from Boncota as he dribbled round three players and put it well beyond the keepers reach.

The final goal came about from a great run by Alex Smith, who laid to to Aitken and he hit a wondergoal into the top left-hand corner.

Kirkintilloch Rob Roy
Nicholas Docherty Although he conceded 8 goals it would have been a lot more if it wasn't for his fast reflexes and soem outstanding saves
Matthew Lang He scored 4 goals and also alround his hold up play was exceptional. The way he was able to bring other players into play was really quite phenominal.
Magic Moment
Kirkintilloch Rob Roy

They played well for the majority of the match but in the end some slack defending and lack of fitness put the game beyond reach against what was an very strong team
A fantasic away win helped them to keep their 100% start going. IT was a very exceptionally professional performance
