The match started as a hotly contested fixture with neither team able to break the deadlock until the 22nd minute. Josh Shephard received the ball 30 yards away from goal and audaciously chipped the keeper from distance.
Shephard then doubled Accies lead as well as his own goal tally with a penalty 6 minutes later.
Accies scored their third goal minutes before half time as Jack Lee sprinted through on goal where he only had the keeper to beat. However, the St Cadocs defenders were claiming for offside as the winger ran on to the ball.
Accies carried their momentum over from the first half into the second half as Saints unluckily conceded an own goal 2 minutes after play had restarted making it 4-0.
Jack Lee bagged his second goal in the 44th minute pretty much sealing the win for the Accies.
4 minutes later St Cadocs scored to make the score 5-1 but at this point it only looked to be a consolation goal.
Accies were given a free kick 30 yards out from goal which Shephard decided to shoot from making this his second 30-yard screamer of the game. This was also the forwards second hat-trick in a row. Shephard scored his other hat-trick against Dumbarton Riverside last week.
