Dreghorn four to the good against Troon

Fixture: Dreghorn YFC v Troon
Competition: Under 15's WOSYF League
Date: 21/02/14
Dreghorn were playing Troon in the West of Scotland league 1, with the hosts one position behind in 4th placed Troon it promised to be a good game.
It was Dreghorns first home game since before Christmas and the pitch was in good condition for there return
After a opening 15 minutes that was, controlled mainly by dreghorn, Dreghorn's fast tempo and high pressing game finally paid off, after some very nice build up play and a nice cut back from Robbie Handling, Sean Crawford tucked the ball into the back of the troon net for 1-0.
This fired Dreghorn up and the second was far behind, after some fantastic play which started with a throw out from Dreghorn goalkeeper Chris Taylor, dreghorn patiently worked the ball forward, before a perfectly weighted pass fell to the feet of Sean Wells who tucked away the goal of the game.   
The game settled down a bit until 10 minutes before the break when yet another exciting passage of play ended with striker Sam Rennick making it 3-0.
5 Minutes before the break Sam Monaghan got a wee break whivh allowed him to break into the box and dink the ball over the on rushing troon keeper 4-0

After a fantastic first half from dreghorn, Troon had too come out in the second half and try and claw themselves back into the game.  
Troon started with that purpose, however with no real chances in the opening 15 minutes, it was clear too see who was claiming the 3 points.  
Both teams seemed to accept the result and for the last 20 minutes both teams saw the game out without many chances being created.
