Under 14's Stewart Brien Cup

Where to start? An old fashioned cup tie that had everything, including a very muddy, wet pitch.
An even start to the game with both side trying to play football despite the playing conditions.
Jack for AC Oxgang's went close on a couple of occassions, with one of his efforts striking the post.
Hutchie didn't threaten until their goal and the games opener, the conditions played a huge part in this. Reece B of Oxgangs was in full control of the ball before slipping on the muddy surface, which allowed the Hutchie striker to run through and finish well, 1-0 to Hutchie.
A difficult one to take as AC Oxgangs had been the better team up to this stage.
Half Time : Hutchison Vale Colts 1-0 AC Oxgangs
The away sides half time team talk consisted of "more of the same and you will get the reward".
The equaliser arrived from captain marvel himself Gav who unleashed a fantastic strike from the edge of the box high into the net, 1-1.
This galvanized the away side and it wasn't long before they added a second. A corner from the right saw Filip put pressure on the keeper who knocked the ball out to Luke who in turn volleyed the ball into the goal, sending Oxgangs into a deserved lead.
With only nine minutes remaining it looked like we would see the game out however Hutchie had other ideas. As a long ball over the top got to the bye line, before being cut back and this was met by a fine finish from the striker, 2-2. Last minute heartache it seemed.
However, Filip decided to do his best Messi impression turning two players inside out before a perfect cut back to Tom, he remained calm and finished brilliantly, what a finish to the game.
