Lanark United hosted Blakburn United this weekend, with the sides having met each other only two weeks before. Blackburn emerged victorious in that match, 4-2 winners.
Both teams went into this match very much up for it, especially Lanark as they were looking to get revenge.
Lanark put themselves one nil up early on as Sean Barton got himself on the score sheet.
Lanark did have a few more chances which they couldn't convert into goals, they were made to pay for this as Blackburn managed to equalise, 1-1.
However Graham Brown of Lanark restored his sides lead just before half time.

Both sides came out into the second half rearing to go, with Blackburn looking to draw even.
But, Lanark started the second half very strongly and Sean Barton grabbed his second and his sides third, 3-1.
The Lanark sides pace up front began to cause problems for the Blackburn defence as Lanark continued to put pressure on the Blackburn back line.
With half an hour played in the second half Sean Barton completed his hat-trick, making the score 4-1.
Credit to Blackburn as they never gave up and kept pushing Lanark right until the end, as they grabbed themselves two goals, but they weren't able to come up with any further reply and Lanark held on to emerge winners, earning themselves a valuable victory.
