Sunday afternoon in Bannockburn saw Milton 99's take on Fauldhouse FCA Reds in the Bob Malcolm A League Cup. Milton and Fauldhouse met early on in the season with what turned out to be a tough match for both teams with a 4-3 scoreline going Milton's way.

The knock out match kicked off with the immediate attacks from Milton testing the Fauldhouse defence. Within the early minutes of the game a strike at goal from Milton caused the Fauldhouse defender to handle the ball off the line and left the referee no choice but to show him a red card.
Captain Jack Dick stepped up to the spot and opened the scoring. Milton kept the pressure on with a flurry of attacks resulting in Jack McDonald scoring a header from a well timed cross from new signing Anthony Binnie. Just before half time Declan Wood beat three men to take a shot at goal and increase Milton's lead.

Half Time: Fauldhouse FCA 0-3 Milton

The second half saw Fauldhouse dig in defensively to prevent further damage. Milton continued to hold possession by stringing together over 25 passes at one point out flanking Fauldhouse again and releasing Keir Bairner to find the net. Having being a knockout match, Milton are through to the quarter finals of the League Cup against Syngenta Grange to be played in the coming weeks.
