Armadale hosted Broxburn in a Sunday morning West Lothian league encounter, with both sides looking to climb the table. It turned out to be a bit of a scrappy game from both on a cold and wet morning played out on a heavy pitch.

Broxburn went ahead in 7 minutes, a fine strike from Declan Kerr from 16 yards beating the out-stretched keeper. A few more chances came the way of the visitors inside the half, without troubling the Armadale keeper.

Armadale nearly levelled early on in the second half, a goal mouth scramble being cleared off the goal line by Liam Gallagher. However, they were made to pay as Broxburn doubled their lead on 52 minutes, a good break into the box and lay off from Andy Drysdale was fired home by Ross Gorman from 10 yards.

Again the away side had chances but the Armadale defence were holding strong. The game was finally wrapped up on the 77 minute mark, a fine turn and strike, again from Ross Gorman inside the box found the corner of the net.

Armadale nearly pulled a goal back in the last minute, a powerful angled strike hitting the top of the crossbar, but Broxburn easily hung on for maximum points.
