The top two teams in the West Lothian leage under nineteen's league went head to head on Sunday, in what was an eagerly anticipated match between Broxburn Athletic Colts and Dunipace Juniors.
Dunipace went ahead on six minutes, Brown's thumping twenty five yard free-kick caught Livingston out in the Broxburn goal as the ball appeared to swerve one way and then another as it found the back of the net. A great start for the travelling side.
However, Broxburn were to draw level in fifteen minutes when  Lochrie played a lovely through ball to Henderson and his pin point cut back fell to Nimmo who fired past the Dunipace keeper from twelve yards, all square now.
Thing's were to get a lot better for Broxburn as they went in front on twenty one minutes, when Nimmo grabbed his second of the match, nicking the ball off the Dunipace full-back, racing into the box and rounding the Dunipace keeper before slotting home from a tight angle.
Nimmo had another effort cleared off the line on thirty three minutes and was then unlucky again on forty three minutes to see his twenty five yard free-kick swerve narrowly wide past the far post.
Later in the half Dunipace had a few long range effort's on goal, as well as a decent penalty claim waves on by the referee.
Half Time : Broxburn Athletic Colts 2-1 Dunipace Juniors
It was backs to the wall for Broxburn in the second half as Dunipace, now with the wind advantage went in search for a leveller, however the Broxburn defence stood strong in an attempt to keep their efforts at bay.
Brown of Dunipace forced a good save from the home keeper as he nutmegged his marker before firing powerfully towards the top corner from eighteen yards, however Livingston stretched well to tip the ball over for a corner.
Broxburn had a couple of late chances which could have clinched the game, Nimmo raced through on goal again but could only fire wide and a Broxburn trialist done well to create space for himself but screwed his effort wide of the target.
A couple of Dunipace corners in the dying seconds had Broxburn in a bit of a panic but the chances were eventually cleared upfield and a huge sigh of relief came as the referee blew the final whistle.
An excellent result for Broxburn against an excellent Dunipace side who they will be battling for the league tile, the result is sure to give Broxburn a boost ahaead of their Scottish Cup Quarter Final tie against Antonine Blacks next week.
