How did your team get on last season (13/14)?: We have recently only formed as a new team but last season we was Newmachar Utd. We ended up 3rd in the c-league. We also won our divisional trophy against Culter Boys club, winning 2-1.
What are your hopes for this season (14/15)?: Due to being a new club we have to compete in the C league again. But, we are confident that we can win the title or in the worse case scenario finish 2nd but still getting promoted. Hopefully we can win our divisional cup again.
What is the mood in the camp ahead of the new season?: A hard pre-season has been taking place and we are quietly confident that we can play even better this season. We are hoping that we can become a hard team to beat.
Has there been any 'Summer Transfers'?: Yes, we lost our exceptional & insperational skipper Euan Campbell Wylie who moved abroad with his family due to his fathers new job. He will be sorely missed.
However, we have signed 3 new players; Daryl Robertson from Dyce Boys Club, Matthew Lynas from Colony Park and Myles Mack from Paul Lawrie Foundation. Three exciting new players. We are also hoping to take in one more player
What is your footballing 'philosophy'?: For my team of kids to enjoy their football, to help them progress their abilities and ambitions, and to make sure they have good memories of their football career as a child
Biggest Achievement to Date?: As a coach it has to be the divisional trophy we won last season. We were slight underdogs and it was a very tough match, but the boys worked very hard & deserved their victory. It had me close to tears to see their faces at the final whistle. It made myself & Mark Garnham (co-manager) very proud coaches.
Do you know much about your opponents? If so, what do you make of them?: In our new league for this coming season, yes I do, and it will be a very tough league. Very exciting times ahead
Who are your Sponsors: Our main sponsor is Weir Engineering Services, they were very kind to donate us our kits and tracksuits. 80:20 procurement services, Linzi's Barber Shop and we are in negotiating with three other companies to sponsor us. The Byron Group, Aberdeen Underwater Engineering Services and a valve specialist company from England
