Nicolson got off to a great start, racing int ao 2-0 lead thanks to a double strike from Lorna Latimar. On both occasions she pounced onto loose mistakes and kept her composure. With just two minutes on the clock, the islanders with in dreamland.
It was back to reality though, fifteen minutes later. Williamwood pulled a goal back on the eighteen minute mark after Carla Boyle broke free of the Institute defence and then rounded Kirsty Gillies before placing the ball into an empty net.
