In top of the table clash between first place Colony Park with a 100% league record against second-placed place Fraserburgh Link-up, Colony kicked off the match and immediately brought the game to Fraserburgh with some great attacking play, with Adam Smith and Rian Wilson in particular causing the Broch defence plenty of problems. With both teams struggling to adapt to the windy conditions, it was Smith of Colony who opened the scoring, finding space cutting in from the wide right area to side foot past Jamie Bruce in the Fraserburgh goal. Link-up soon equalised with a carbon copy of the first goal, Ryan Sargent the Broch number 11 cutting in from left wide area to leave the right back trailing and strike the ball past the keeper into the Colony goal to make it 1-1. In an evenly matched game it was Colony who again took the lead with Smith grabbing his 2nd goal with a solid strike into the Fraserburgh goal from a great through ball. Colony weren't going to hold on to their lead for long though as Sargent again placed the ball past McDonald in the Colony Park goal after a great pass from Darren Anderson. With time added on in a thrilling first half, Colony were awarded a penalty for a foul on their striker. The resultant penalty was hit powerfully past Bruce to make the half time score 3-2 to Colony.

Half Time: Colony Park 3-2 Fraserburgh Link-Up

A determined Fraserburgh kicked off the second half focused on getting back into the game with both teams playing great football, and Colony came close to goal on a couple of occasions but it was Fraserburgh who scored the next goal with great build up play involving Jamie Park and Dylan Ritchie feeding Jordan McLean who shot high over the colony keeper into the net. Fraserburgh continued to put pressure on the Colony goal with William Third sending a dangerous in-swinging free kick into the box which Reece Taylor superbly hit straight at goal only to see the Colony substitute keeper pull off an amazing reflex save. With the ref blowing for full time shortly after, both teams were happy with a share of the points in what was an excellent and entertaining match.
