Another winter comes by and once again snow is on the radar and affects the football pitches not only in the North East but around most of Scotland.
One club who do alright with the winter though is Albion BC who just 15 months ago recreated their Spain Park surface which used to be grass into 3G.
Albion Under 14's had only played 3 league games before today and got their 3rd league win of the season at home to Paul Lawrie Foundation after a 4-2 win thanks to goals from Jack Odlin, Jordon Reid, Lewis Paton and Mitchell Cheyne with Albions star player being Jamie Hay.
The starting line-up was Cameron Jarvie, Andrew Donald, Craig Armstrong, Finlay Johnston, Jack Odlin, Jamie Hay, Jordon Sangster, Lewis Paton, Liam Morrison, Mitchell Cheyne, Tyler Ogston with the bench being Fraser Gordon, Greame Cochrane, Jordon Reid, Josh Bolton, Oscar Slater.
With this being Albions first game since before the festive break coach Greg Moir thought his boys were a bit rusty after the break "We were rusty however we got the job done and the boys can build on that domestically and in the Scottish Cup in the coming weeks."
Meanwhile Albion Under 15's brushed aside Colony Park 9-0 in the Belmont Trophy.
