Aberdeen 13s Ladies preview photoThree weeks ago Aberdeen Ladies Youth 13's thought that they would be playing a league game on Saturday 22nd September, but after a phonecall from Hampden Park they learned they will now be playing Hearts in the Quarter Finals of the Scottish Cup.

Coach Derek Gordon could not hide his delight in being reinstated, due to their last sixteen opponent fielding an ineligible player. He said: "We can't wait to get started now and it has the makings to be a great game."

Both sides are doing really well in their respective leagues with Aberdeen sitting top and a League Cup final to look forward to and Hearts are sitting 2nd in the South East league and are still undefeated, having won their League Cup.

Gordon looked forward to the game saying: "We’ve done really well in the league this season and Hearts will be a tough test for us. I’ve looked at Hearts and they are a good side and undefeated in the league with seven wins and one draw. We have had players playing for Scotland and the whole squad have played for North Regional so we have a bit of experience in there."
