Colony Park v Albion BC (Under 17s)You have good days and you have bad days and Albion's clinical finishing in front of goal meant is was to be a long afternoon for Colony with Darren Sinclair bagging a hat-trick where as Chris Liversedge went one better and got four.

Albion thought they'd be in for a tough encounter and they hit Colony on the front foot and Devin-Kennedy Colbert started well and managed to win a free kick for the visitors which was taken by Chris Liversedge and the winger hit a sharp 35 yard free kick but Miller Knowles managed to tip it over.

It was Colony that were to take the lead with their 1st attempt on goal when a smashing free kick in by Lukas Kennedy was sent into the penalty area which was met by Macaulay Rae but the skipper awkwardly put it into his own net.

The Inverurie side switched off and Albion equalised just two minutes later after Devin Kennedy-Colbert sent in a quality ball from the left hand side which was met by Darren Sinclair who placed it past the helpless Miller Knowles.

Albion were to then take the lead when Macaulay Rae's free kick went 50 yards into the penalty box and Chris Davidson was on hand to nod it into the net in what was to be a complete change around for the Aberdeen side.

There was to be another goal and the national champions were to add to the lead after Colbert put in another quality ball for Chris Liversedge who saw his 1st effort saved by Knowles but tucked home the rebound.

Then there was four and Darren Sinclair's 2nd of the game after he met a great through ball from Chris Davidson and the forward then made sure the net was hit once again.

As we entered towards half time it was to get a bit fiesty and the referee had to show a few bookings before the break and there was also an off the ball incident to add to a half of good competitive football.

Half Time: Colony Park 1-4 Albion BC

Colony Park v Albion BC (Under 17s)Darren Sinclair was then to get a hat trick after another good delivery was sent in by Devin-Kennedy Colbert via a free kick which Sinclair met and banged it past Knowles.

Colony were then to get some joy again after a through ball sent in by Darren Smith found Dean Still in what was a great attacking threat by Park, after numerous shouts by the Albion camp shouting offside the referee ignored them and thought the forward was onside and Still tucked it well hard and low past Nico Berton.

Albion were to build on their goal tally and Chris Liversedge was to get his 2nd goal of the game after he recieved the ball from AJ Baker and his trickery got him into the penalty area and tucked it past the helpless Miller Knowles.

Chris Liversedge was then to get his hat-trick on 65 minutes after Albion were once again to create some good passing football and Liversedge was to squeeze his way to goal and side footed it in for another well worked goal.

Albion just didn't look like stopping and got a 7th goal in the 70th minute after Devin-Kennedy Colbert recieved the ball from substitute Jack Smith and Colbert side footed the ball into the bottom right hand corner.

Colony scored another goal on 74 minute which Albion thought was another offside goal after Dean Still knocked in a through ball for Luke Munro to place into the bottom left hand corner from 10 yards.

The National champions were to complete the scoring on 87 minutes after Albion hit Colony on the counter and Gregg Watson was allowed to thread a ball into Chris Liversedge who netted into the bottom left hand corner from close range.

Lukas Kennedy - Put in a superb free kick for the opening goal and kept on fighting throughout the game even when the tie was out of sight.

Chris Liversedge - Darren Sinclair was a contender but as Liversedge scored one more it goes to him, Chris also put in a few good balls.
