ADJFA Cup Finals Round Up 27th May 2018

Alongside the Westdyke vs Dyce BC Under 14s game which had a full match report from David Reid, Youth Football Scotland also brings you brief match reports from the other cup finals which took place, we also cover the C League Play-Off with Turriff United and Northstar Orange at Under 13s level.
CBC Hilton v Banks O'Dee Albion Under 15s - Stonehaven Youth Trophy
A first half strike from Kyle Smith was enough for the Stonehaven Youth Trophy to be heading for CBC Hilton in what was a 1-0 win for Hilton. Both sides had good chances to add to the slender one goal that was scored however good saves from both goalkeepers kept the scoreline down.
Banks O'Dee Albion v Westdyke CC Under 17s - Raymond Kelly Association Trophy
Westdyke and Banks O'Dee Albion have met each other five times this season with Westdyke winning four out of the five meetings, Dave McGinlays side were unlucky not to win the league. The game might have been decided after extra time however it was a comfortable afternoon for Westdyke. Albion scored after an own goal
Westdyke scored their first goal when Max McGinley whipped in a pacey free kick from out wide which alluded both Euan Walker and the defender to go into the net.

In extra time, Nathan Rankine crossed the ball in which was parried by the Albion keeper before Euan Walker half volleyed the ball into the empty net and the striker went mad in his celebrations!

Greig Cowie sealed the game for Westdyke after he chested down a throw in before finishing precisely into the bottom right corner giving the keeper no chance.
Turriff United v Northstar Orange Under 13s - C League Play off
Both teams were guaranteed promotion before a ball was kicked in this game however this game offered the league trophy, it was Northstar Orange who came out with a 5-1 win, Conal Cheshire has been in fine form for Northstar and he guided his side in front before Tiernan McLaughlin made it 2-0.
Michael Ibizube had a great game and he produced a good finish to make it 3-0, an own goal made it 4-0 and Jake Coutts made it five with Turriff getting a consolation.
