The Aberdeen and District Juvenile Football Association have recruited a new sponsor for the non-competitive age groups. A&DJFA Development Football are delighted to announce ABRRAS as their main sponsor.
ABRRAS are an SYFA-affiliated first aid provider who are going to be working closely with the league to provide opportunities, discounted events and competitions for all our clubs.
ADJFA Development Secretary Ray Riddell commented on the sponsorship saying, “It’s good for the league and the kids that ABBRAS are willing to invest in the development game in Aberdeen, we are looking at doing competitions and events for the kids and clubs as well as well as training equipment, it’s a year deal to start with.
“I have a massive enthusiasm for child development and kids football, I just think it needs pushed a little bit more, I am also wanting better facilities so it can help the clubs, we are getting a committee together and pushing it on more."
The league was due to kick start the newly structured nine-a-side games alongside the seven-a-side games for the non-competitive section on the 4th March however due to the inclement weather, all games were postponed which means clubs will try to give games the green light on the 11th March.
As mentioned in one of our earlier articles here - the ADJFA are going ahead with nine-a-side in preparation for their inauguration to 11-a-side in August which will be beneficial to all involved.
