Turriff United consolidated their place at the top of the GPH Aberdeenshire & District league with a 5-2 win at home to Fraserburgh. A Michael Ironside hat-trick was the difference between the teams, Louis Myers & Ryan Botell also got on the scoresheet for the Haughs outfit. Liam Norris & Jordan Smith netted for the Broch.
Banks O’Dee used home advantage to full benefit with a 5-1 win against Inverurie Locos. Calum McKenzie opened the scoring for the hosts with a simple finish before Lachie MacLeod made it 2-0 on 21 minutes.
McKenzie then got his 2nd of the game on the half hour mark before Locos reduced the deficit thanks to Daniel Crisp 5 minutes later. Mike Taylor made it 4-1 Banks O’Dee before half time with the forward completing the scoring in the 2nd half with a free header.
2nd bottom Cove Rangers pulled level on points with Deveronvale after a 4-3 win away to their respective opponents.
Keith v Buckie Thistle & Formartine United v Huntly was postponed.
North Of Scotland Under 20s League
Due to wintry weather in the Highlands, Nairn County v Lossiemouth, Forres Mechanics v Elgin City & Clachnacuddin v Alness United were all postponed.
