A lot of football has yet to be played in the Under 19s A league and 2017 will bring a lot of interesting games. The Scottish Cup doesn't have a North region team left in the competition so all the focus will be on domestic silverware.
Inverurie Locos currently sit top of the league with Cove 2nd who have 3 games in hand. If Ludie Barracks side win all of their games they will go top. Banks O’Dee Albion, Culter Boys and Stonehaven could also have a part to play who have all played 4 league games winning 2 and losing 2.
Turriff United, Formartine United and West End FC could be battling it out for relegation although Turriff know how to compete with the top teams after winning against Albion in the Murray Cup Group stages and also drawing against the Aberdeen outfit away from home this season.
It will be between North Star, Kemnay and Ellon Meadows in the race for the B league championship. North Star will be in pole position come Christmas time with Ellon just a point behind the Aberdeen outfit and Kemnay in 3rd who are still undefeated with 6 wins and 2 draws.
The bottom end of the league sees Huntly, Culter Rovers, Stoneywood and Dee battling it out to avoid the wooden spoon. This will be another interesting league heading into 2017. North Star are looking like favourites to win the league.
