Wednesday saw the Scottish Youth FA draw the ties for the fourth round of the inspiresport Scottish Youth FA Cup, hot on the heels of a packed weekend of third round action. The last 32 stage will take place on the weekend of November 19th & 20th. It is the penultimate round of the calendar year, with round five scheduled for early December, before the winter break.
The Under 17 competition is brimming with exciting ties. The standout is, without question, last year's finalists Banks O'Dee Albion against last year's semi finalists Fauldhouse United.
Last year's winners are in the mix too, with Rossvale facing a tough trip to the Forth Valley to take on Rothes Juniors.
Burnhead Colts have been ever present in this competition's latter stages and this year is no exception, as they travel to fellow Central Region side Calderbraes.
Giffnock Soccer Centre, who four seasons ago reached the final of this very age group, still have two teams in contention. Their Thistle side host Finnart, and Caledonia are at home to Valspar. An exciting day of Scottish Cup football beckons in East Renfrewshire.
Other stand out ties include Syngenta Juveniles v East Kilbride FC Reds and Harmony Row v Milton.
