Bayside Girls rounded off a fantastic year with a hard fought cup final victory over Hibernian at Toryglen.
The game got off to a fair and even start with both sides aiming to keep the ball for as long as possible and attempting to sound each other out.
The first chance of this tight affair fell to Hibs. Katy Pollock passed the ball into Tegan Bowie who fired straight at Baysides Alicia Yates. Bayside then went straight up the park and creted an opening off their own. Carys Allan worked some room for herself on the edge of the box but her shot couldn't find the target.
Hibs began to take control of the game having two quick shots in quick succession. Pollock first fired the ball wide from just inside the box before Carys Grieve had a shot from close range gathered with ease by Yates.
Hibs then made their chances count when Tegan Bowie produced a moment of pure magic. Bowie received the ball just inside the Bayside half before turning two players and unleashing a strike which flew under Yates into the bottom right hand corner. A wonder goal to get the scoring underway at Toryglen.
Bayside started to push on a bit towards the end of the half and nearly had their equaliser when a freekick found Mya Bates but her cheeky flick didn't quite pay off. Bayside then equalised when Grace Dewar drove in from the round and had her shot turned into the path of Caitlyn Wilson who bundled the ball home to tie this cup final up at half time.

The second half got off to a similar start as the first with both sides keeping possesion for as long as possible in an attempt to create an opening or to find a gap in the opponents defence.
The first chance of the half fell to Hibs' Bowie. The ball was squared to her by Eilidh McEwan as she rounded the keeper but good pressure from the Bayside back line meant Bowie fired wide.
With just under 15 miniutes left the final came alive. McEwan drove at Bayside defence who foreced her wide as her shot dragged wide of the mark.
Grieve was next to test Yates but her low drive was excellently palmed to safety. A minute later Yates produced a save any keeper would be proud to make. A corner swung in by Hibs deflected off a Baysie back but Yates got a brilliant palm to it to turn the ball over the bar.
Moments later Bayside completed the comeback. Good pressure from skipper Wilson meant the ball bounced off of her as the ball trundled into the back of the net. A goal she will not have known much about, but it meant Bayside went 2-1 up with 7 miniutes remaining.
Hibs were desperately attempting to get back into the game but Bayside's defence stayed resolute and blocked everything that came at them from the Hibs attack.
Bayside then settled the tie with a fabulous strike from Wilson. Hibs had gone full on attack and Bayside capitalised. The captain Wilson broke from midfield and unleashed a sweet right footed strike which flew past Grace Mitchell into the back of the net to complete a fine hat trick for the youngster and more importantly meant Bayside were crowned champions.
A close hard fought final in which Bayside just managed to overcome Hibs to win the Under 13's SWF Scottish Cup Final with a combination of fine saves and wonder goals but Hibs played very well but they caught Yates in fine form who kept them at bay.
