Dyce win the treble

Written by

Dyce BC Under 13's sealed the treble in emphatic fashion winning 7-0 against Formartine United yesterday at a sunny Ian Mair Park.

I caught up with players Josh Byers and Reece Clark after the game who said “It’s been a hard season, however, us winning the treble shows that we have been the best team this season. Goals win games and we are strong at the back, we took our chances today and came out winners.

“Winning the treble has been the highlight of our season, at the start of the season we were expected to do well. Not a lot of people thought we would be in this position at the end of the season, we have took in players to make our squad stronger.

“The targets for next season will be the same again and that is to go for the treble and try and win every trophies available to us.

“Jamie Clark is staying with us next season but fellow coach Chris Duncan is away to work with the 2004s to help them through their first season at 11-a-side.”
