Hi, I’m Daniel, I’m 21 and I’m now in my 3rd year of studying Journalism at Robert Gordon University. In 2009 I won Aberdeen FC’s Junior Reporter competition and had my match report published on the club website.  I then went on to write reports of Dons games for the fans’ forum Aberdeen Mad.  I began working for RTS (Real Time Sportscast) in 2010, providing over-the-phone commentary and live statistics from games around the country; from SPL down to Highland League, U20s and Ladies matches.
I started with Youth Football Scotland in 2011 covering games in the North Region.  The highlights since then have been being part of the YFS Radio team for the 2011/12 SYFA Challenge Cup U16s Final at Airdrie’s Excelsior Stadium, and having my report of the 2012 Denis Law Tournament Final being published in Motherwell’s Champions League programme versus Panathinaikos.  I’ve also had reports featured in the Daily Record’s free newspaper Aberdeen Now.
