The YFS reporting team are in full swing for 2011/12. Every weekend between now and June 2012 YFS will feature a number of matches, tournaments and events from throughout Scotland, thanks to our team of journalists. It is quite literally the biggest ever weekend of YFS coverage with no less than 30 matches under the microscope and a tournament to be thrown into the mix.
 
It all begins on Friday evening with the second biggest cup final in Under 21s football throughout Scotland. The Lady Darling Cup, a national competition, sees Broxburn Athletic Colts host East End United of Greenock under the Albyn Park lights.
 
Also on Friday evening is the traditional cup final double header from the South East Region. Hutchison Vale meet Tynecastle at Under 13s level before the Under 14s of Hutchison Vale and Cavalry Park have the latest installment in their ongoing battle.
 
Saturday sees the first installment of the South East Regional Cup finals (click here for preview) in Dunbar, with the older age groups taking centre stage. First up is the Under 17s tie between Musselburgh Windsor and Tynecastle; the middle match is Cavalry Park vs Polbeth United 19s; and last up is the turn of the Under 21s with Tranent Juniors and Tynecastle seeking their first silverware of the season. YFS Live will be providing updates from all matches (Click here).
 
Also on Saturday is the last of the Central Scotland FA finals at the Falkirk Stadium. Glenboig United take on Cumbernauld Colts 14s. United will be looking to build on their Central Regional Cup success and Colts determined to go one better than their last final, which saw them lose out to Syngenta Juveniles on penalties.
 
Returning to the South East for the final batch of Saturday action, YFS and YFS TV will be at the second annual Dovecot Cup (click here for preview). This year's event has grown to 8 Under 16 teams with outfits from Midlothian, Edinburgh and Fife involved. Currie Star play host to Aberdour Colts, Salvesen BC, Bonnyrigg Rose, AC Oxgangs, Leith Athletic and Loanhead Miners. YFS Live will be providing updates from all matches (Click here).
 
Sunday is a huge day with action in all six regions. It all starts at New Countess Park, Dunbar with four more helpings of South East Regional Cup final action. YFS Live will be providing updates from all matches (Click here). They are as follows: Hutchison Vale vs Tynecastle (Under 13s); Hutchison Vale vs Murieston United Blue (Under 14s); Loanhead Miners vs Tynecastle (Under 15s) and Hutchison Vale vs Tynecastle (Under 16s).
 
We then head down the M8 for League Cup final action from the Glasgow & District YFL at Toryglen. On offer is Milngavie Wanderers vs Celtic BC 13s; Antonine BC vs Clydebank BC 15s; Bonnyton Thistle vs Linwood Rangers 19s; Moorlands vs Cardonald Thistle 14s; Park Villa vs Blantyre Vics 16s; Albion Rovers vs Harmony Row 17s. YFS Live will be providing updates from all matches (Click here).
 
Remaining in the West Region and a stone's throw away at the Clyde Gateway Stadium the second West of Scotland Under 21's cup final of the season takes place with Giffnock United and The Celtic BC contesting it.
 
In the Central Region we have finals from two different associations. First of all the Forth Valley FDA begin their cup final season at Alloa Athletic's Recreation Park (click here for preview). Dunblane Soccer Club take on Steins Thistle 17s and Craigmarloch are up against Steins Thistle 19s.
 
Heading across to Lanarkshire the LFDA host their older age group finals. Larkhall United and EKFC Gold 16s do battle for the second time in four days after their thrilling league tie. Mill United take on Shawlands United 17s and Claremont Red take on SYFA Challenge Cup semi finalists Wishaw Wycombe Wanderers 19s.
 
In the North East we have no less than five ties to look forward to from the ADJFA. In the morning two 'relegation play off' matches take place between teams who have finished level in second bottom position of their league table. Murgiemoss Youth and Glentanar BC are trying to stay in the Under 13s 'B' League whereas Peterhead BC Colts and Westdyke are hoping for top flight survival in the 14s age group.
 
In the afternoon the three oldest age groups present a trio of cup finals. SYFA Challenge Cup winners Albion BC take on semi finalists Broomhill Juniors at the 16s age group; Banks O'Dee Albion face Peterhead 17s and Apex FC are up against FC Formartine (Under 19s). Moving down the East coast there are a couple of finals to look forward to in Fife. Blue Brazil vs Inverkeithing Swifts 17s and Cupar vs Rosebank 19s.
 
What region haven't we been to yet? That's right, the South West. Couldn't be leaving them out, could we? Just one game on the agenda as we visit Abbey Park, Kilwinning for the Under 13s final between Tass Thistle and Irvine Meadow Youth.
 
Finishing where we started off, there are two further cup finals in the South East. In the East of Scotland FA Under 19s league winners Craigroyston take on Spartans at 'The Academy' in the Challenge Cup. In the East of Scotland 21's YFL Hutchison Vale are chasing their second cup success and they visit the scene of their last triumph with Edinburgh City joining them in Penicuik.
 
The Under 13s SERYFL Division 2 title race still has some distance to go and two of the teams hoping to be crowned champions meet this Sunday. Edinburgh United play host to Hutchison Vale Colts.
 
A long, long weekend comes to a close on Monday with one last final from the South East. Cavalry Park are up against Lochend YFC with the Cruden Bowl up for grabs.
