Although there is still a bit of football to be played, the action packed season 2011/12 is coming to an end.

This isn't an official award, not a glittering ceremony. It's simply a chance to give a wee bit of praise to a squad of players, along with their coaches and other volunteers, who deserve some recognition for their achievements.

They can come from any division, they don't have to have won trophies, if you think they've done an excellent job for the resources they have, put them forward...

Can anyone see past Bonnyton 19s? What about Milngavie Wanderers 13s? Goldenhill 21s? St Mirren BC 14s? St Peter the Apostle 15s?

With all the honors played for, Antonine U15 have once again been outstanding winning the treble. Reached the final of the Scottish Cup again and won the regional 9-0. They have been the team to beat over the past 2 years.

Dont know if I can nominate my own team but Milngavie Wanderers U13 have won the treble this season with only the Scottish missing from that collection. Not only that but I do think we played the best football in the league. St Peters knocked us out the scottish and they played some really good football, surprised they never won something at our level.

Yesterday`s Regional Cup Final completed a terrific year for Moorlands U14 B.C. when they overcame a 2 - 0 half time deficit to level the score at 2 - 2 at full time before going on to lift the cup with a 5 - 3 extra-time win over St Andrews (Greenock). This win capped a year in which the boys won their league, without losing a game, drawing once and winning all the rest. They also won the league cup beating Cardonald Thistle in a thrilling final and last week-end travelled to Blackpool where they lifted the Blackpool Cup, on penalties, after a tense game against the local (English) opposition Leyton Juniors.. In the past year of the seven tournaments/competions entered Moorlands U14 B.C. have won six, only losing out in the Scottish Cup fourth round.
Surely must be a genuine contender for Team of Year..
