Kelty Marian Colts travelled to Ladybank to take on AM Soccer in a Fife Football Development League Division 1 clash. Locked in a title race with East Fife JSC, the visitors were determined to return home with three points.
The away side got off to the best possible start with Jack Smith helping himself to a double. Cammy Currie and Lee Cook added strikes of their own as the Colts raced into a 4-0 lead.
A timely goal from AM Soccer reduced the deficit and gave the home side a glimmer of hope going into the second half.

Kelty were given the chance to regain their 4 goal cushion when they were awarded a penalty early in the second half. Lee Cook stepped up and slotted home number 5.
The final goal of the game came in the closing stages as the home side grabbed their second of the day to put a bit more respectability on the scoreline.
Next Sunday sees Kelty host East Fife in a tie which could go a long way towards deciding the destination of the league title. The Methil side are a point behind, but with a game in hand.
