St Johns 93s V Aberdour SDC
Aberdour got off to a great start with a couple of early chances and the first goal after 5 minutes following a cross by Adam Kerr which Conor Hay slid into the back of the net, 0 - 1.
Aberdour continued to press with near misses from both Conor Hay and Adam Kerr, a goal line clearance by St Johns defence in the 20th minute was quickly followed by the award of a penalty when Conor Hay was brought down in the box in the 24th minute. Conor Hay picked himself up and took the penalty which unfortunately hit the post and went wide.
Following the penalty miss the team picked themselves up and continued to press, they were rewarded just three minutes later when Mark James delivered a slick pass behind the St Johns defence to Sean Johnstone who scored from a second attempt after the St Johns keepers initial save to make it 0 - 2.
After the restart we saw the first attempt on goal by St Johns as they made a concerted effort to get back in the game, however Aberdour quickly restored their dominance, with the 3rd goal on 32 minutes which came from a free kick taken by Dean Anderson and put away by Jon Davidson.
Three minutes later following a goal mouth scramble Mark James popped up to strike home the 4th goal. Aberdour continued to press with a number of near misses until half time.
Half Time: St. Johns Under 19's  0 - 4 Aberdour Under 19s
St Johns 93s V Aberdour SDC
St Johns came out after the break and created a number of chances to try and get back into the game, a good save from Stuart Paterson in goal prevented a change in the score.
After 10 minutes a break by Conor Hay down the right hand side allowed him to put a cross into the box which Adam Kerr was able to convert into a goal. This was followed again with another break away goal with this time Sean Johnstone supplying the cross which both Adam Kerr and Conor Hay missed however Craig Mitchell was able to finally put the ball in the back of the net to make it six.
Two more goals followed both made by through balls from Aaron Lindsay first with a ball through to Lewis Hamill who picked his spot and placed the ball past the goal keeper, the second again splitting the St Johns defence this time Conor Hay who placed a vicious shot into the back of the net. St Johns finally got a consolation with a well struck shot which flew into the back of the net.
Aberdour continued to create chances with close shots from Stuart Blake and Aaron Lindsay and closed out the game with two final goals, one from Craig Mitchell following a cross from Aaron Lindsay that struck the bar and Craig Mitchell was at the back post to head home the ball, the final goal followed a goal mouth scramble which was emphatically struck home by Sean Johnstone.
