Trailing their hosts by four points with just five matches to play, Aberdour required maximum points from their trip to league leaders Woodside if they were to maintain a realistic title challenge.
And win they did, keeping the club's hopes alive with an excellent victory. Trailing by a goal at half time the second half started with renewed vigour, a excellent run on the left by Conor Hay ended with him crossing into the box for an precise finish by Sean Johnston. Then later Hay was to provide the killer cross into the box for Steven Stark who finished with a left foot strike to take Aberdour on to a great win away from home.
