Antonine travelled to Colquhoun Park in Bearsden for a Scottish cup tie, looking to progess to the 3rd round of the competition.
Antonine were looking to start the game like they did last week, and that was with an early goal. Antonine kicked the game off, knocked the ball around to invite Milngavie to pressure them, and before the home side could get a touch of the ball, Antonine had opened the scoring. Dean Miller played in Fraser James and he fired home after 26 seconds to open the scoring.
It was all Antonine in the game, and the Milngavie keeper had to be on his toes to keep out Lewis Smith on four ocassions in the first 10 minutes.
After 20 minutes, a rare attack from the home side almost resulted in the equaliser. A volley from a corner was cleared of the line superbly from Calum Maxwell to keep Antonine in the lead.
Antonine had no problems creating chances, but the problem was coverting them into goals. Just before half time though, the lead was doubles as Steven MacIver had his shot deflected over the keeper to make it 2-0 with his 1st goal of the season.
Half Time: Milngavie FC 0-2 Antonine FC
Antonine came flying out the traps in the second half, and a short corner between Hutton and Chris Donaghy found skipper Brendan Kelly 12 yards out and smashed the ball home to score his fourth of the season.
Goal number 4 came on 56 minutes and this could only be described as a great time goal as every player was involved in the move in the build up the lead to the goal. Over 20 passes seen Blair McGregors' cross headed home by Fraser James to finish off the move, and to score his 7th of the season.
62 minutes, Smith flicked a ball on for Harry Shaw to score his 1st goal for the club to make it 5-0. A great finish.
Shaw, Smith Hutton and Donaghy all came close as Antonine turned on the style in the latter stages of the game. Goal 6 came on 70 minutes and Lewis Smith finally got the goal that he deserved as James played him in. Lewis worked tirelessl all day, and he slotted home his 16th of the season.
Kelly and Maxwell both came close before MacIver crossed for Danny Hamilton to bullet a header home to make it 7-0. Dom Cairney was then pulled down inside the box and Hamilton fired home his 12th of the season to make it 8-0 to Antonine.
In the final minute of the match, Hamilton crossed for Chris Donaghy to complete the scoring with his 5th of the season with a tidy finish.
It was a day that Antonine played some terrific football and will now face Tass Thistle in the 3rd round of the Scottish Cup.
