Hamilton Caledonian started their league campaign off with a fairly comfortable 5-2 win over Glasgow Girls FC.
The game started off very scrappy with very few chances from either side the closest either side came was Joanne Haughey's free kick that was defended well by Glasgow Girls.
Hamilton's first chance of the game came threw Kirsten Thorton who drilled a shot from the edge of the area but it was blocked well by the Glasgow Girls' defence.
Glasgow Girls started to look for a bit of joy down the left flank 20 minutes in to the game, a few good chances created but no goal to top of the hard work for the home side.
Hamilton looked to try to sneak a goal and were close when Emily Shearer's well struck shot just trickled wide of the post. Caley finally got the goal they were looking for a few moments later but with a well worked counter down the right and a great finish from Aleisha Gallacher to top it off and put the away side ahead.
Straight from the Glasgow Girls kickoff they gave the ball away and Hamilton nearly scored there second goal of the game but Katie Culton tipped it wide for a corner kick.
Aleisha Gallacher doubled the score and her tally for the game with a sensational strike inside the box and after the restart Caley continued to pile the pressure on the home side with Suzanne Smith nearly adding a third with a half volley just past the post and a well struck shot blocked.
Just before half time Hamilton Caledonian added a third goal with captain Lauren Connors header from the near post firing into the Glasgow Girls goal.

Hamilton looked like they were going to add another with a few good chances from Arlene Carr and Carrah McConnel but the scoreline stayed at the same.
In the closing stages of the game the home side added a second goal when Shelby McGuinness whipped in a corner and Hamilton failed to defend and the ball ended up in the back of the net.
