Harmony Row progressed to the semi finals of the SYFA Challenge Cup, in a convincing win against the capital city's unbeaten East of Scotland 21s YFA, Division Two side Edinburgh City.
The game started with the two sides threatening at both ends of the park, but it wasn't until the twenty fourth minute, when Harmony's Chris Gordon won the ball in the final third, he then skillfully dodged his way into the City box and fired a cracker past Edinburgh keeper Danny MacKenzie to break the dead-lock and make it one-nil to the home side.
The match continued to be a closely fought encounter with Edinburgh's David Warnock and Lewis Atkins, both unlucky not to level the score.
Ten minutes later however, Cities Cup final hopes were dented when Harmony Row's Colin McLean made a good run down the left wing and played a square ball straight to the feet of the incoming Chris McLaughlin, who then comfortably put it past the City stopper to double their lead.
With Referee Jim Robert about to blow for half time, Harmony earned themselves a corner, and with City failing to clear the ball to safety, Harmony's Scott Nicholls sneaked in and poked the ball beyond MacKenzie to make it a half time score of 3-0.

Second half report: The second period went underway with Harmony showing their superiority and continued to dominate the game, without adding to their tally.
As the game went on, Edinburgh, as hard as they tried, could not find a way back into the match, and with eighty nine minutes on the clock, Harmony Rows Scott Hendry completed the scoring when he connected well with the ball inside the box and volleyed it home past MacKenzie.
After the match, Harmony Head Coach Carlo Girsoli commented: "I thought it was an entertaining game. I thought we did enough to win it, especially in the first half."
Edinburgh manager, Iain Donaldson added: "We were beaten by a far better team. I think Harmony will go on to win the competition, but we shall see."
