Real Farmington 5-0 Aberdeen East End United (Under 17s)
SWF East Region Division
On a warm, muggy morning at Marketmuir Forfar, Real Farmington bagged three vital league points against a resolute Aberdeen side.
The day's hot conditions seemed to affect the local girls and their usual clever lead-up work was let down by hurried passing in the final third and speculative long range efforts, so at the break all they had to show was a Murren White counter curled in from the edge of the area.
The second half showed a more composed side however with Laura Parsley netting calmly after a Gallacher slide rule pass had released the striker and the ex-Arbroath duo struck again shortly after with "Scooby" cleverly slotting home Emily's pass from a narrow angle.
Chelsi Coyle added to her season's tally clipping home off the post after another Gallacher/Parsley passing move with the Carnoustie youngster notching her hat-trick to complete the scoring for the Angus outfit.
With solid performances from Megan Burns, Katy Dixon and Natalie Donald and a five star display from Parsley the Farmington coaches will be satisfied that many of the girls will soon be looking to make the step-up to Senior Women's Football.
