YFS confirms exciting partnership with FilmMyMatch

Written by
Youth Football Scotland is excited to announce a partnership with professional filming and analysis company FilmMyMatch that will enable us to further enhance the quality of coverage of youth football across Scotland.
Established in 2012, FilmMyMatch uses the latest technology (including extendable tripod technology and High Definition cameras) to capture the excitement and passion of live sporting events and showcase the talent that exists from grassroots to elite level.
From October, FilmMyMatch will support YFS in establishing trained camera operatives throughout Scotland, providing the opportunity for teams to access ‘Sky Sports’ style elevated footage at any venue (see example below, from the tie between Drumsagard and Clyde U13s).
Footage will be made available to view online and via mobile/tablet devices within 24 hours of each game, enabling players, coaches, family and friends to easily watch and share games.
Furthermore, FilmMyMatch will provide an additional range of editing and analysis services, giving teams a chance to retain a high quality memento of a big game, or use it as unique coaching tool to improve performance.
FilmMyMatch Director Dave Roe said: “We are delighted to be working with YFS. The organisation provides a unique and valuable service to grassroots football in Scotland and we are proud to be supporting them in enhancing this service even further.”
YFS director Robbie Forsyth added: "FilmMyMatch will bring an exciting new dimension to our match filming services. It is exciting to offer young players and volunteers not just the opportunity to relive magic moments but to analyse their performance and improve their game."
At present YFS is seeking clubs in the Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow area that would be interested in pioneering the service in Scotland (at a discounted trial price).
