Celtic started this game as firm favourites and charged into an early lead when Abi Harrison whipped a cross in from the right which was coolly finished by Katie Flannigan at the back post.
The Hoops continued to press with Georgie Rafferty and Hayley Sinclair dominating the midfield for Celtic and it was Sinclair with a rasping drive who put Celtic 2-0 up after 10 minutes.
Before Glasgow Girls could settle they found themselves 3 down when Alyshia Walker played a great ball to the tricky Carla Jackson who set up Flannigan for another clinical finish.
Walker was next to try her luck with a great turn and shot well saved by McNamara in the Glasgow Girls goal. Rafferty then fired wide before Flannigan nipped in to seal her hat-trick.
Lauren Coleman then went close for Glasgow Girls with their first real threat on goal. This spurred Celtic into action and Harrison raced on to a great through ball to slot number 5 for Celtic.
Jackson was showing great skills on the left wing but number 6 came from an unlikely source. A Celtic corner was palmed away by McNamara. Courtney White picked up the loose ball at the edge of the box and spectacularly lobbed the ball into the roof of the net.
The half time whistle could not come quick enough for Glasgow Girls. Despite Nadine Peacock's energy and Leigh Ferrol’s hard work up front they were unable to crack a Celtic defence well marshalled by Amy McAfferty.
