To help highlight girls’ football in the Linlithgow community, Linlithgow Rose CFC Girls section commissioned a video to promote the game in the town.“My Football Story” was filmed at training sessions over the last month and includes almost all of the 65 registered girl footballers, as well as coaches, parents and a special guest appearance from the Scotland Goalkeeper Shannon Lynn who came along to share her experiences as an international player. The club would like to thank Shannon for her help and endless autograph signing! LRCFC promote participation and long term player personal development through Positive Coaching. The aim is to grow the girls section of the club to be one of the largest providers of girl’s football in Scotland, offering the chance for girls in and around Linlithgow to train and play at a level competitive for them from an early age. The club currently have teams at U13, U11 and U10, and are looking forward to growing further. Additionally, at their first attempt and in their first year of competitive football, LRCFC Girls have reached the Under 13 Hayley Lauder League Cup Final, to be played at the Spartans ground on Sunday 17th June. The video can be found by clicking here. The club would like to thank Mo Thomson of VaVaVoom Video for all his help and hard work in creating this exciting and professional video.
