Riverside Athletic made the short journey to Raploch Astro for the midday away tie with City.
The longer lie in seemed to suit the boys as they started brightly with Gary and Kobe having some early chances which would have gone in but for some excellent goalkeeping by the Dunblane keeper.
The early pressure eventually paid off after twenty minutes when Kobe put the away side ahead with a good strike from a Ryan Whyte corner.
Despite having the majority of the possession Athletic could not add any more and Dunblane were unlucky not to go in at the break level after missing two chances before half time.
Half Time : Dunblane City 0-1 Riverside Athletic
After a good talking too during the break Athletic started the second half with a bit of belief and within five minutes Kobe grabbed his second quickly followed by a fine strike from Harry making it 3-0 after good build up play from Connan and Kobe.
In control now Athletic made it four after Aarron S scored with a fine strike inside the box after a spectacular overhead kick attempt from Harry.
Alex made way for Ben but he was soon picking the ball out of the net as the defence switched off to allow Dunblane to break on the left and score.
Dunblane seemed to come to life after the goal and but from a good block by Bens backside would have added another. This seemed to spark the boys back to life and Captain Kobe grabbed his hat trick after a defensive mistake.
With all the possession now Danny danced past a couple of defenders to drive a shot past the Dunblane keeper into the bottom corner.
Following good work by Aarran B down the right Garry unselfishly flicked the ball back off the Dunblane line for Kobe to hammer home his fourth and the games final goal.
