Both teams deserve great credit for playing this cup tie in atrocious weather conditions.
Moorlands enjoyed a dream start when full-back Jonnie Walker sent the ball through to striker Dean Robertson who netted with aplomb.
Only five minutes later, Robertson added a second from the spot as Lenzie struggled to cope with the visitors’ attacks.
Mark McNulty then made it three before Ross Brown added number four from a wide angle.
Further counters from Paul Mockus and Sean Monaghan took the half-time tally to six.
Half-time: Lenzie YC 0-6 Moorlands Reds
To the credit Lenzie continued to battle bravely and goalkeeper Ben Waddell produced some good stops for his team.
However the second period brought more goals for Moorlands with Monaghan adding another three and defender Michael Clarke also getting on the scoresheet from a corner.
Full-time: Lenzie YC 0-10 Moorlands Reds
