Rossvale knocked out Scottish cup holder's Campsie Black Watch in the last thirty two replay in front of a packed Huntershill at the weekend.

Rossvale were majestic from the off and in a blistering opening twenty minutes they blew the watch away.

Rossvale took the game to Campsie and within six minutes a good piece of play down the right side lead to Hendry opening the scoring, making the score line 1-0 in favour of Rossvale.

From the restart Rossvale continued to press Campsie and were forcing the holders into making some errors and on twelve minutes Dickie doubled the Rossvale lead.

The Bishopbriggs side were clearly in the mood, pressing Campsie all over the pitch and on the eighteenth minute a piece of pure magic lead to Rossvale making it 3-0 as Bradley controlled the ball on his chest, he then hit the ball on the half volley which flew towards the Campsie goal, hitting the cross bar and dropping into the net, a wonder strike.

The big Rossvale support were ecstatic as Campsie didn't seem to know what had hit them.

Rossvale controlled the first half bossing possession and playing there usual high energy football.

They came close to extending their lead as Doherty hit the bar with a great strike.

Half Time : Rossvale 3-0 Campsie Black Watch

The second half started with Campsie waking up a bit and they looked dangerous going forward, and their pressure paid off when Kelly slotted the ball home to make the score line 3-1, reducing the Rossvale lead.

Rossvale were in no mood for letting Campsie get themselves another goal and on sixty minutess Bradley added his second of the game to make it 4-1 to Rossvale.

Things almost got worse for Campsie as Dickie sprung the offside trap after a neat move with Storey, Dickie then squared the ball to Simpson who slotted the ball home, only for the referee to judge that he was offside.

Rossvale chipped away at the holders all afternoon, who were clearly rattled from what happened in the early stages of the match.

With five minutes to go Campsies fate was sealed when Bradley completed the scoring and grabbed his third.

The Rossvale players and management were clearly ecstatic having just knocked out the holders in such brilliant style.
