Cumbernauld Colts finish season on a high away to Rossvale

Cumbernauld Colts U16s comprehensively beat Rossvale to finish there league campaign with 18 straight victories. 
Cumbernauld beat there opponents 11-1 after the home side were reduced to 10 men early in the first half and made there task very difficult against a Colts team full of confidence. An early Jordan Pirrie free kick saw Josh Devine give the Colts a very early  1-0 lead after a goalmouth scramble. 
Rossvale responded straight away and broke upfield only to see them shoot straight at Ewan Walker. 2-0 came after good wing play by Devine  played in Connor Mcateer who set up Cammy McKay who's miscues shot fell nicely for Sam Rodger to finish it off. 
Rossvale got themselves back into the match scoring the goal of the game with them scoring with a sweet half volley giving Walker no chance for 2-1.
 Colts broke upfield from the kick off and there player got his marching orders after a blatant kick on Sam Rodger inside the box from which Kieron Struthers dispatched the penalty for 3-1.
 McKay cut in from a wide position set up Mikey Mcgarahan to tap in and send Colts in at half time leading 4-1.
Defender Blair Bateman spun and shot in the fifth after finding space in the box after a corner. Connor Mcateer tapped in his teams 6th goal after the keeper spilled a Pirrie shot. Mcateer then added Cumbernaulds 7th goal after some neat exchanges by his team mates. 8-1 was set up by Mark Brown who set up Cammy McKay to score.
 Josh Devine had the easiest of tap ins after McKay put it on a plate for him to make it 9. 
McKay then added his sides 10th after good interchange of passing using the extra man to there advantage .
 The final goal came when again Josh Devine finished off another Cumbernauld attack to seal a victory to cap off a superb unbeaten league campaign.
