Cumbernauld hosted Nothern Irish side Glentoran in a friendly whilst the visitors were in Scotland on there Easter Tour. This match was played at a high tempo with neither side looking like they wanted to be beaten. 
Tackling was spicy as both teams tried to get an upper hand on each other. The home side created the early chances with Cammy McKay coming close with a shot. 
Sam Rodger showed good skills and nearly opened the scoring only to see his curling shot hit the crossbar. 
Cumbernauld broke the deadlock after Mark Brown pounced on a slack back pass which he was quickest to react to and found the back of the net.
 Glentoran equalised when they were awarded a penalty after if appeared Ryan  Milne seemed to win the ball in which he injured himself and had to be replaced.

The second half produced nice passing and attacking play both both sides determined to get there team ahead. Pirrie and Gwynne both came close with McKay nearly scoring from a direct free kick. 
The visitors had chances themselves to get ahead but keeper Walker dealt with them comfortably .
 Cumbernauld eventually found the winning goal after Cammy McKay scored. A good match played in the right spirit and both teams shared after match hospitality.
