Accies team turn up for Preston as the Easter weather ensured a very successful hunt for silverware for the 4th year running.
Maintaining their high standards for the game, each and every player were at their peek of physical performance to maintain an unbeaten record, on the five games played and with 17 goals for and only 1 against. Jordan pettigrew and the back line of John Rowan, Robert Griffiths(cpt), Jack Linden, Lewis Mooney, Adam Mckeown- ensured a solid defense smothered any spark of attack during the whole weekend.

The midfield of Bradley Seaton, Fraser Macallennan,Connor Burns, Nathan Smillie, dominated the midfield as commandants in their own right. No second ball was lost and every first, challenged as there was no relinquish to their incessant desire to retain the ball.

Widemen Connor Smith and Daniel Reilley showed their class, as they deliver balls into the box more efficiently than royal mails postal services, creating chanced for the forwards as they were on the hunt.

Evan Duffy saw a collection of goals that would make any striker happy. The on form Callum Douglas steam rolling home several goals that could have appeared on the weekends match of the day report. David Thomson and dean burton continued to stampede past the defense, a as both were unplayable - it was clear all 4 were not on the hunt for Easter eggs as they dominated the goals tally.

It had an extra special feeling to it as in the absense of both Sean maguiness and John Maguiness, who were unable to travel down, the team dedicated the silver in their honor. Thanks for everything you guys bring to the club and our sport the WORLD OF FOOTBALL.

It was not all football as the lads were treated to a trip to blackpool with express pass onto the rides, the passage to terror, extreme Go Karting (Champion Jack Linden). There was an Easter egg hunt on the lawns of the Marriott hotel as well as the use of the health suit facilities, gym, and executive suit courtesy of the club, where the traditional quiz left the lads thinking about football. Parents were treated to a Mr & Mrs quiz & baby picture contest, of which the participants launched fully into stories and excuses that probably embarrassed the relevant players. The young family members were not forgotten as championship twister - hoolahoop - and table tennis were all utilized to ensure a fun filled action packed weekend was had by ALL!
Well done the boys!! Well done the coaches and hotel staff!! And finally well done to each and every family member who made our weekend a total blast!!!!
